“Why am I still here?”

You lied to me, you cheated on me. What keeps me here, entertaining your wants and needs? People left and right are telling me to give you up–but I know I can’t leave you alone. You’re my way of life.

No matter what you did, I found a way to forgive you for it. I even made plausible reasons for doing it. Unfortunately, it took the challenge of someone else loving me for you to realize my worth. By the time I could forgive you—I was gone.
