Your face crosses my mind everyday. Everyone knows it. Everyone may not see it—now, I’ve gotten pretty good at hiding it. But I long to be right there beside you everyday. I love you and I always will.

We were SO happy. I was proud to be yours. I did my damnedest to make sure we were safe and secure every night. So when you slept, I would look at your face and smile.

….knowing it would be the first I’d see in the morning…I miss the old you.

You lied to me, you cheated on me. What keeps me here, entertaining your wants and needs? People left and right are telling me to give you up–but I know I can’t leave you alone. You’re my way of life.

No matter what you did, I found a way to forgive you for it. I even made plausible reasons for doing it. Unfortunately, it took the challenge of someone else loving me for you to realize my worth. By the time I could forgive you—I was gone.

You were what she wasn’t. In a nutshell, that sums it up. You were refreshing; someone that I had no problem building with–BUILDING with. You told me everything I wanted to hear. You loved my music, you loved making love to me, you loved conversations with me.

In the beginning everything happened like a honeymoon. We were enamored with the way we carried ourselves. I loved everything you did and you loved everything I did. I could curse you out and we would end up making love. But you taught me one important thing—women only rely on love to carry them through the honeymoon.

After that, everything is plausible for them. Even cheating.
